A company anniversary is more than just financial statements. It provides an opportunity to reflect on our achievements and look toward the future. It sends a strong message to employees, business partners, customers, and the public: We’re making a difference—together with you and for all of us.
The Task: Recognition and Visibility
In April 1990, the ASB’s Regional Association of East Brandenburg (Regionalverband Ostbrandenburg e.V.) was reestablished. Now, this anniversary will be commemorated throughout the year. UVA was tasked with developing a logo and tagline for the year’s theme, as well as ideas for a campaign.
The idea: typical of Brandenburg
The anniversary coincides with a time of great uncertainty on the one hand and, on the other, with a growing need for social and welfare services.
The slogan “The Best of 35 Years” was intended to express appreciation—both internally and externally—for the work accomplished and, above all, for the employees; it was also meant to encourage people to get involved in the region and to portray ASB as a strong, approachable employer.
The new temporary logo is strongly inspired by ASB’s corporate design and builds on the existing logo. The year, depicted as a slightly off-center, superimposed flag, conveys a sense of dynamism while remaining true to Brandenburg’s down-to-earth character.
Photos for the planned promotional materials were taken during an on-site photo shoot featuring real ASB employees. The various images showcase an authentic team—an authentic ASB family from right here.

This fosters recognition and a sense of identity: ASB Ostbrandenburg isn’t just a facade—it truly belongs here.
The result: an anniversary year full of momentum and impact
Several banners were designed, each featuring a team—people who live and work here—with recognizable buildings or the respective ASB facility visible in the background. The tagline on the banners —“ASB has been… by your side for 35 years”— can be further developed and will be used throughout the year for a brand awareness campaign and an HR campaign. Posts across all social media channels ensure a wide reach in the digital sphere as well.

In addition, various surprise appearances and events with partner organizations are planned throughout the year, designed to bring the theme and message to the ASB’s locations in Frankfurt (Oder), Beeskow, and Eisenhüttenstadt.
This is intended to highlight the ASB’s deep roots in the East Brandenburg region and emphasize how important the association—and thus its employees—are to the people of the region.
If you’d like to keep the party going a little longer, we’re here for you.
