It can be displayed in waiting rooms, quickly taken away and passed on as required. The content needed to be well-founded, comprehensive yet easy to understand and structured for different age groups. In addition, a children&#8217;s book in &#8220;Pixi&#8221; format was planned in order to address the comparatively large patient group of children and their families in a targeted and age-appropriate manner.   <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_A4_003-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"High-quality brochure for people with PID\" class=\"wp-image-89511\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_A4_003-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_A4_003-540x304.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_A4_003-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_A4_003-2048x1153.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">\u00d6spid&#8217;s message: Anyone who is tested for PID can start treatment.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-das-ergebnis\">THE RESULT<\/h3>\n\n<p>The title &#8220;Help &amp; hope with a primary immunodeficiency&#8221; is encouraging; the subheading &#8220;Testing is knowledge is life&#8221; is a clear invitation.\nThe focus is on education, diagnostics and dealing with PID, and relatives are also explicitly addressed here.\nThe first message is: A good life with PGD is possible.\nThe second message is: We as a self-help group are here for you and support you.   <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_kinder_001-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-89513\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_kinder_001-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_kinder_001-540x304.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_kinder_001-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.uva.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/mu_bro_kinder_001-2048x1153.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The book explains to children what a primary immunodeficiency is.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>The friendly color scheme with lots of yellow underlines the optimism, and the sunflower symbol of the \u00d6SPID appears in many places.\nThe sunflower is also a central character in the children&#8217;s book.\n&#8220;Cheer up, Maxi!
