\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTHE TASK\r\n\r\nUVA redesigned the entire website of the AMEOS Group, which currently comprises 105 facilities in the areas of acute care, mental health, nursing, rehabilitation and integration in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The existing comprehensive career portal covering all aspects of careers, training and further education was to be integrated into the new website and adapted to the new design.\r\n\r\nThe timing of the relaunch was chosen to mark the Group’s 20th anniversary.\r\n\r\nTHE OBJECTIVE\r\n\r\nThe focus of the new website was to be on the needs and search behavior of users: through a simplified and focused structure. Instead of a hierarchical sorting system, the focus is on the content. No matter which entry point the user takes, they should be able to find their way around the site and find what they are looking for with just a few clicks.\r\n\r\nThe career portal should be integrated, and a new interface to the HR software should automatically integrate the job data. All job offers should be integrated in such a way that they can be easily searched and found. From your own website search as well as from search engines.\r\n\r\nTHE IMPLEMENTATION\r\n\r\nThe relaunch was a comprehensive project that was implemented in a long-term collaboration with AMEOS. The first steps included an internal expert survey among the 18,000 employees from all areas, communication and management, medical and nursing staff, on the needs and search behavior of future users.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExchange and training\r\n\r\nThe work process included several workshops and online workshops in continuous close exchange between the agency and the client’s responsible contacts. In addition, the AMEOS editors who will maintain and support the new website in the future received training.\r\n\r\nIn total, more than 5,000 pages were reviewed in terms of content and design, revised and transferred to the new system.\r\n\r\nTHE RESULT\r\n\r\nThe communication platform of the AMEOS Group, including the career portal, now has a new look and feel: with a modern, fresh design, appealing and clear.\r\n\r\nAMEOS presents itself as a strong player in the healthcare sector – for patients and as an employer, which is all the more important in times of a shortage of skilled workers.\r\n\r\nNew website, faceted search\r\n\r\nThe AMEOS Group’s facilities are no longer divided into regions; instead, the content is displayed via a faceted search with multi-level search and filter options. As a result, the variety of services on offer is clearly presented and visitors can reach their destination with just a few clicks. There is a strong focus on the doctor search, with visitors usually finding the right contact person after just two clicks.\r\n\r\nStrengthened employee loyalty\r\n\r\nThe focus on supra-regional corporate identity also has a positive internal effect for increased employee loyalty.\r\n\r\nLast but not least, mobile devices are given even greater consideration thanks to innovative technologies.\r\n\r\nAs part of the integration of the career portal into the AMEOS Group website, the HR area has been given an even greater focus.
